On April 3, 2023, Luso Langa Skill Center officially opened its doors, marking a transformative milestone for the community of Justin Village, Traditional Authority Ndindi in Chipoka, Salima. With an initial enrollment of 35 students, this technical training center is dedicated to equipping individuals of all ages and genders with valuable skills that lead to sustainable employment and self-reliance.

Bridging the Skills Gap

Thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from World Connect Malawi, the center is offering certificate courses in tailoring and carpentry. Three cohorts have been trained so far with 75 students graduating with hands-on expertise needed to secure jobs or start their own businesses.

A Collaborative Effort for Lasting Change

As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to seeing the center grow and transform lives through skills development and economic empowerment.

Join us in supporting this life-changing initiative—because when communities thrive, everyone benefits!
